Shipping Information
Order Processing
We process all orders within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
Shipping Options
We offer two shipping methods to meet your needs:
1. Standard Shipping ($12.95 USD)
- Carrier: DHL or FedEx
- Delivery time: 10-15 business days after shipping
- Includes tracking and insurance
2. Free Shipping (Orders over $50 USD)
- Carrier: EMS
- Delivery time: 15-25 business days after shipping
- Includes basic tracking
Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and customs processing. We ship worldwide except to certain remote areas and parts of Asia.
International Shipping
For our global adventurers:
- All international shipments include required customs documentation
- Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees
- Delivery times may be extended due to customs processing
Returns & Exchanges
We stand behind our gear like we stand behind our campfires – with complete confidence. If your equipment doesn’t meet your wilderness expectations, we’ll make it right.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items, provided they are:
- In original condition (unused, unwashed, with tags attached)
- In original packaging with all accessories
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
The following adventure essentials cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons:
- Used sleeping pads (from our Pads, Cots & Hammocks category)
- Opened fuel canisters (from our Stoves & Grills category)
- Personalized or custom-ordered equipment
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Basecamp
Email our gear experts at [email protected] within 15 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
Step 2: Receive Authorization
We’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions within 2 business days.
Step 3: Pack Your Gear
Securely repackage the item(s) with all original materials, including the RMA number visible on the outside.
Step 4: Ship It Back
Send to our Colorado basecamp using a trackable shipping method:

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive your return.
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchange Process
For exchanges:
- We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive your return (standard shipping rates apply for the new item).
- If the exchange item is of higher value, you’ll be charged the difference.
- For lower-value items, we’ll refund the difference.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your gear arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage
- We’ll arrange a free return label and expedite your replacement
- You may keep the original packaging for inspection by the carrier if needed
International Returns
For adventurers outside the U.S.:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs forms must be marked as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
- Refunds will be issued in USD and may be subject to currency fluctuations
